So, we haven't written in a while- so here is the update.
1. It's a boy!!!!
2. Sharel is mostly over her morning sickness.
3. I am the new Scoutmaster- (awesome for me.)
4. I still don't like Obama.
5. Neither do most of the people in our ward.
6. I still don't like McCain.

8. I am applying to graduate school. (fingers crossed)
9. We are happy.

Wow, it has been too long since we have written, but I have felt the peer pressure (thanks alot Caryn!) and thought I should catch up.
The end of May Danny graduated (with honors I might add!) from Columbia College in Columbia, MO. He was able to take his classes online so that helped. We were going to get me started on school again this coming year, but we both felt impressed that he needed to keep going and get his master's out of the way. A lot more work, but it will be well worth it.
We are not moving as soon as I would have liked, but we are doing alright where we are (the whole bloom where you are stuck...I mean planted has had to come into play)
The big news is that I am pregnant again! We have felt "the push" for couple of months and of course all Danny and I have to do is look at eachother and we get pregnant. But, we make the cutest kids, so we figure we cannot stop. We would be doing the world a disservice by not having more.
This will be the longest break in-between kids, but we still may have two in diapers again...but Grant has actually initiated going to the potty by himself many times (and made pee-pee! His words....).

Deep Thoughts by Danny
ok here are my musings
1. Energy- drill, drill, drill, drill, drill. Nuclear, nuclear, nuclear, nuclear, nuclear. Refineries, refineries, refineries. Tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts.
Obviously we need to drill our own oil. Obviously we need to have nuclear power for electricity. Obviously we need to have more refineries. Why tax cuts? We need to strengthen the economy, to boost the value of the dollar, which will end some of the rampant speculation in the oil markets that are inflating the price of oil. Tax cuts are known as supply-side economics, or trickle down economics, or Reaganomics (Even though Reagan did not invent the idea, it was used long before Reagan.) Supply-side economics has worked everywhere it has been tried.

67% of Americans support drilling, enough said. Congress, wake up. We can't get 67% of Americans to agree on anything.
Election: McCain=bad Obama= terrifyingly bad.
McCain tries to hard to be Mr. Nice Guy, that he going to help get Obama elected because he can't bring himself to say one negative thing about him. I wouldn't be suprised if McCain actually came out and endorsed Obama!
Obama= he is good at saying Hope! Change! but that is about it. I know most liberals, and some conserviatives think he is a mixture of Tom Jones, Al Gore, and the second coming, but in reality he is an absolute Marxist.
How can anyone with two brain cells to rub together actually beleive that Obama spent 20 years in the church, and does not share the same views. But, I guess we are all a little retarded in the eyes of politicians.
Typical interview with Obama:
Reporter googlie-eyed at speaking with the "chosen one": We love you, and now I am going to ask you a tough question, When you save us all with your magical powers, can you assure the american people that you will live forever?
Obama: HOPE! CHANGE!
Tough reporter who will soon be assasinated by fellow reporters: Can you explain to the american people how you can sit in a church for 20 years and not agree in some way with Rev. Wright?
Obama: duurrrr, uhhh, HOPE! CHANGE! derrrrrr...CHANGE! HOPE!
[at this point security removes reporter and whacks him for asking certain questions]
Obama: I want everyone to remember my message of HOPE! CHANGE!
Its true, every word, its true.
Come to think of it, Obama must have magical powers, in order to create the kind of buzz with such a lack of anything.

Well, what to do now...
Yes, we haven't written in a while, even though we are less busy. Just a little update about the going ons of our family. Sharel and I are finally fixing up the house. We painted the dining room and even went and bought laminate flooring for the kitchen and the dining room.
Of course, things still seem a little busy. Sharel is still with the Stake Primary, and I got put into the Young Men's. So I am gone once a week. Eryn started summer school a couple of weeks ago, and she loves every minute of it. Rachel is growing up as well, she is becoming very articulate. The other day I was talking to Rachel, and she told me she wishes she could turn into a boy, so she could be Grant. And then she said there would be two Grants, and wouldn't that be funny to see two Grants playing? Grant has had double ear infections the past couple of weeks, and has had to be on two different antibiotics because the first one did nothing. The Dr. suggested we see about getting tubes put into his ears. Grant has initiated potty training. The other day out of the blue he grabbed my hand, led me into the bathroom and pointed at the toilet. So I put him on, and lo and behold he peed! He was excited, and apparently had Sharel take him in a few more times throughout the day. Grant has also become a little daddy's boy. He latches on to me in the morning and when I get home, mimicing everything I do.
I apologize for not being clever like Spencer in my posts, but deal with it. Maybe I will post a few musings I have on the upcoming elections, gas prices, and guns. Peace- Danny.

GRADUATION!!!!
It's been a while since we wrote on here, but that is because I have been in my last semester at school and Sharel has been busy with her calling.
But- I have finally graduated college! I now have a BA in Administration of Justice. It feels good to finally be done with that.
We are all still alive and doing just fine.

Time to update...
Time to update again.
We had a wonderfull weekend watching conference. Great talks and a great spirit was felt all around. We tried to get the kids to sit and watch some of one of the sessions. Sharel made a little conference bingo card. It worked for a little bit, but Grant kept taking the bingo markers off of Eryn and Rachel's cards. We finally gave up and turned on a movie for them out in the other room.
We spent the time in between sessions on Saturday cleaning out our basement. Boy we have a lot of trash and junk down there we are going to throw away. It almost seemed overwhelming at first, but with Sharels help it looks a lot better.
Just a few of the talks I enjoyed from conference:
President Uchtdorf(?) talk from the Priesthood session and also Sunday. President Monson's talks from all three sessions he spoke. Elder Holland's talk from Sunday afternoon. And also Elder Scott's talk.
